About Dr. Van Vinciguerra

Dr. Van Vinciguerra graduated from the State University of N.Y. at Oneonta in 1978, with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Vinciguerra attended the Illinois College of Optometry and received his optometric degree in 1982. Post graduate work commenced with a 2 year position in a private professional contact lens practice, in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Van Vinciguerra began his New Jersey private practice as an optometric physician in 1984. He currently devotes his professional time, maintaining two full-time optometric practices. A staff of 16 employees support both practices.

Dr. Vinciguerra attends over 30 hours of continuous educational seminars per year. These classes provide up to date procedures and technology that continuously reshapes “the standard of care” for his patients. Dr. Vinciguerra loves working with children and patients that have visual challenges that have not been helped by other doctors. He is a member of the New Jersey State Board of Optometric Physicians (NJSOP) and the American Optometric Association (AOA). He is an avid triathlete and is the eye care provider for several tri clubs in New Jersey. He is also provides eye care for a New Jersey club soccer team. His hobbies include raising Japanese Koi in his 6000 gallon Koi pond.
